Formation Status
Regulatory Framework
Dosu International Bank is being established as an International Finance Entity (“IFE”) under Act 273 of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, as amended. Upon licensure, the institution will be regulated by the Office of the Commissioner of Financial Institutions of Puerto Rico (“OCIF”).
Permitted Activities Upon Licensure
As a licensed International Finance Entity, Dosu International Bank will be authorized to accept deposits from clients outside the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico; extend credit; conduct foreign exchange operations; underwrite, trade, and distribute securities; issue letters of credit; and provide trust, custody, and asset management services to American individual, business, and institutional clients, as well as to qualifying international clients.
Current Status
Dosu International Bank is not currently licensed. No banking products or services are presently offered or available. The institution does not currently accept deposits, extend credit, or otherwise transact banking business with any party.
Corporate Structure
